Payroll Sources

Federal sources support the federal withholding, Social Security, Medicare, and Additional Medicare portions of the calculator.

Implemented state and jurisdiction sources support ordinary withholding, no-income-tax treatment, employee payroll deductions, state certificates, or limitation copy where they apply to the standard W-2 estimate.

State sources are listed only for jurisdictions currently included in the public paycheck estimate. Jurisdictions still missing calculator-ready official sources are intentionally omitted from this source list.

The public calculator is a standard W-2 paycheck estimate, not a full employer payroll compliance engine.

Unsupported local, multistate, employer-specific, and uncommon certificate cases are disclosed as limitations or handled through user-entered advanced adjustments when the user knows they apply.
